Maremma...a very typical area of Tuscany in which old traditions and the authenticity of a wonderful countryside combine together in spectacular landscapes facing the warm mediterrean sea. Roccastrada is a little picturesque medieval town just an hour and a half southwards from Florence, situated in between Grosseto and Siena.
Coming from Florence: Take the motorway E78 heading to Siena. Once past Siena proceed south in the direction of Grosseto, then turn towards Civitella and take the first exit at the roundabout to Roccastrada.
Coming from Rome : Go North towards Civitavecchia, take the highway SS1 (Aurelia) and turn at the second exit of Braccagni, turn in direction of Montemassi for the next two crossroads then proceed towards Roccastrada.
Coming from Pisa - Livorno: From the highway SS1 (Aurelia) proceed towards Montemassi until you reach the road number Sp19. Take that road and move towards Roccastrada.
